ECUADOR: AG opens investigation into Lasso over Pandora Papers

On 22 October various Ecuadorean media outlets reported that President Guillermo Lasso is under investigation by the attorney general’s office (AG) for alleged tax fraud, following his naming in the Pandora Papers investigation by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
