Venezuela takes pre-emptive action against Paraguay

Development: On 17 October the Venezuelan government of President Hugo Chávez confirmed that it was expelling Paraguay’s diplomatic mission in “reciprocity” for the departure of Venezuela’s diplomatic mission from Asunción.
