Development: On 24 February leading dissidents reported on increased and intrusive security measures by the Cuban authorities following the death from hunger strike a day earlier of a 42-year old prisoner Orlando Zapata Tamayo, listed by the international human rights NGO Amnesty International as a prisoner of conscience.
